News Of The Left
Just me.

Just me.

Occupy Wall Street

When I first heard about the Occupy Wall Street movement a few days ago, I blew it off like most, and that’s largely in part because the mainstream media wasn’t covering it.

Please visit OccupyTogether.org to find an Occupy group in your city, and march until our demands are met, and the banking crooks are forced to do the perp-walk into their jail cell for the rest of his natural born life.

If you reside in the greater Oklahoma City area, and you are free Friday at 6pm, please come to Will Rogers Park. Last time there were about 160 who showed up, and 132 who signed up at our first general assembly meeting. Also, just before attending our first general assembly last Friday, the Occupy OKC Facebook page had only 260 likes, and as of this morning it’s nearing 2000 likes. Everyday, new people join our cause from across Oklahoma, to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters occupying Wall Street.

Our next general assembly will be held October 7th, 2011, at 6pm. Please bring people with you, because the more we have, the merrier.

My friends, please don’t let history pass us up. We are truly at a pivotal moment in every society around the world, and the world is watching. We are the 99%, we are FED up, please join us.

See y’all Friday!

Thanks,

OKCliberal

Progressives have put forth a common sense plan that I’m confident 67% of American citizens would support. Why 67%? It’s clear from every national poll I’ve ever seen, there are approximately 33% who will support Republicans no matter what. Please check out the 1 page 10 point plan by opening the link below, and forward it with everyone you know.

Found this on thepoliticalcarnival.net and who made it is unknown. It does speak though to how many of us on the left currently feel about President Obama. He may make us mad as hell, but not voting or allowing a Republican, possibly Romney, Bachmann, or Perry, win the 2012 election, is too frightening to contemplate.
